Selection policy
The team will be selected on two dates:
-
31.03.08, 50 km Men’s Team or
individuals
-
06.04.08, 20 km Men’s and
Women’s Teams or individuals;
-
10 km Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s Teams or
individuals.
There will be no formal trials:
performances achieved in national qualifying,
IAAF or EAA sanctioned events between the dates of
January 1st
2007 and the respective selection dates will be
considered. All performances must be completed in events with the
appropriate level of judging and officiating. Athletes seeking
qualification outside the UK should discuss the suitability of
the competition with the UK Athletics
Endurance Coordinator or the UK Event Coach.
In all cases current form will be taken
into account. Gaining a qualification time
does not automatically guarantee selection.
Athletes setting a qualifying performance in 2007 will be expected
to show form over appropriate distances near to the World Cup
competition.

Athletics selection policy for these events.
