| The 50km took place in conjunction with the French 100km (men) Championship around a 2.5km course. Despite the international status of both races, neither attracted many walkers. The first half of the 50km saw the first three French ladies neck and neck with Fauqueur gradually pulling away to win. The support and camaraderie of the French walkers and official is second to none and especially welcome to those at the back of the field! |
