| The Clubs only competitor in the World Masters Championships in Finland was John May in the M75 group and he came away with very satisfactory positions in both the 5km and 10km events despite being at the very end of this age-group. Unfortunately the 20km race was less successful as he tripped over the foot of a misplaced barrier and was temporarily hospitalised with a badly bruised face. |
