Advice & Training

One of the most rewarding aspects of having a club  website is the ability to share advice and up to date information on training techniques, nutrition and what to do if you get injured. We have a selection of articles and useful guidance on every you need to know.

Training, exercise and injuries

Surrey Walking Club member Sandra Brown has written some notes about her own experiences of training for ultras. (and having completed over 100 x 100 miles races, she should know!)
As Sandra points out, training, especially for ultras, is very personal, so if you have any tips on how you train - get in touch.

Tim Erickson, Secretary of the Australian Centurions Club and experienced race walker, has kindly given his permission for his articles to be reproduced on our website
