Welcome to the Surrey Walking Club. The Club was originally formed in 1899 as a race walking club. We are still involved in race walking but we now promote a range of walking related activities including ultra distance walking and we have our own successful long distance social walking section known as the Strollers.

Next Club Stroll (Long Distance Walk)

Saturday 8 October. Autumn Woodlands in the Weald. Circular walk from Tunbridge Wells station. Conductor Jerome Ripp. Start Tunbridge Wells train station 09:10 (London Charing Cross 08:15) Finish around 17:00, regular return trains to London Charing Cross (four an hour).

 Route description: Undulating wooded countryside, valleys and rivers as we explore nature reserves, conservation woodland and estate parks in the area south east of Tunbridge Wells. Many paths are relatively new. Lunch will be at Eridge Green and possible tea stop in Tunbridge Wells.
